TFI offers continuing education, life long learning courses as well as college credit courses. Continuing education courses are also offered as certificate programs, typically of four courses each.

TFI offers college credit courses in cooperation with Hartford Seminary, Hartford, Connecticut, and a university in Virginia (agreement pending).

TFI also alllows learners to create individualized certificate programs with advice and written approval from the program director, as well as seek recognition for life experience through testing.
